Successful hunt

John,

I wanted to let you and future hunters at your ranch know what a great experience I had at the Skull Creek Ranch the night of July 2,2015. You made me feel right at home and I felt like your place was my place. What I liked the most was the fact that after you took me on a tour of the ranch you handed me the keys to the Ranger and I was off on my own. Your place is the real deal and not a “Country Club” hunt with a guide and people telling you what to do every minute. You even had bags of corn in the ranger if I needed them. Between 8 PM and 10 PM I had shoot two hogs…one at a lighted feeder and one in a pasture. Since I was a solo hunter I felt it was time to call it quits.

A few things I would recommend to future hunters at the ranch:
1. I had two flashlight but forgot the lantern for cleaning the hogs.
2. Mosquito repellant is a must.
3. I wore snake boots and would recommend but I did not see any snakes.
4. I will bring two 96 quart ice chests on my next hunt at the ranch.
5. The grocery store on the East side of Highway 71 after you get off I 10 sells 20 Lb. bags of ice…cheap.

I look forward to my next hunt in the Fall but will bring friends the next time…Best Regards, Chip
